Terms & Conditions
AC Sports SWE AB · Last updated 18 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
These terms govern your use of the website teamcarvalho.se and the training services, memberships, class cards and drop-in classes sold through it. The seller and service provider is AC Sports SWE AB, trading as Team Carvalho Göteborg, Andra Långgatan 48, 413 27 Göteborg, Sweden (“we”, “us”). You are contracting with AC Sports SWE AB. Contact: alancarlosjj@hotmail.com.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, booking a class, or buying a membership or class card, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement, or that a parent or guardian agrees on your behalf (for youth and kids memberships).
3. What we provide
Access to martial arts training at our academy in Gothenburg — Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi grappling, Muay Thai / kickboxing, MMA, kids and juvenile classes and private sessions — together with an online account for booking classes and following your progress. Class schedules, instructors and capacity may change. Training is physically demanding; you are responsible for training within your ability and for informing your instructor of injuries or medical conditions.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Bookings are personal and may not be transferred or resold.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the service:
- for any unlawful purpose, fraud, spam or misrepresentation;
- to infringe intellectual property or other rights;
- to interfere with security — no malware, probing, scraping or unauthorised access;
- to harass, endanger or discriminate against other members or staff;
- to circumvent booking limits, class capacity or payment.
6. Intellectual property
We retain ownership of the website, its software, content, curriculum material, photographs, logos and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own training. No reverse engineering, resale or redistribution.
7. Service level
We work to keep the site and booking system available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Payment, subscriptions and taxes
Prices are shown in Swedish kronor and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Memberships are sold with a 3, 6 or 12 month commitment and renew automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled. Class cards and drop-in classes are one-off purchases. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller — see Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Our own refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.
9. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of academy rules or safe-training conduct. You may stop using the service at any time; paid periods are governed by the refund policy and Paddle’s buyer terms.
11. Liability
Except where the law does not allow it, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.
12. Governing law
Swedish law applies, and disputes are resolved by the Swedish courts, with Göteborgs tingsrätt as the court of first instance. Consumers keep any rights to bring proceedings in their place of residence and to use the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date, and continued use means acceptance.
